Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Jaffrey's Jamel Callahan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Lehigh Valley Vipers's Patrick MacDowell got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jaffrey's Vince Engel got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lehigh Valley Vipers getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Patrick MacDowell hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Patrick MacDowell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaffrey's Stanley Frazier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lehigh Valley Vipers. After having played for 12 minutes, Jamel Callahan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaffrey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamel Callahan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 13th minute of the match Patrick MacDowell completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrick MacDowell a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Jaffrey booed when Lehigh Valley Vipers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick MacDowell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Evans hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Jaffrey's Stanley Frazier tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lehigh Valley Vipers getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Anson Mahoney hit a great ball. Lehigh Valley Vipers's Jarrod Joiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamel Callahan in the 20th minute of play. Jaffrey's Jamel Callahan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Van Ambriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jarrod Joiner came out and tried to block the shot, but Van Ambriz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. Jarrod Joiner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamel Callahan in the 32nd minute of play. Vince Engel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jarrod Joiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Lehigh Valley Vipers got a freekick which was hit by Anson Mahoney. Lehigh Valley Vipers's Jarrod Joiner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamel Callahan in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Jaffrey's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Brady came free, but Jimmy Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Brady's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Rangel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Brady in the 42nd minute of play forced Jaffrey's goalkeeper Jimmy Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kent Brady managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lehigh Valley Vipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Brady was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Rangel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Evans kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jamel Callahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jarrod Joiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kent Brady in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmy Rangel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kent Brady sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kent Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jimmy Rangel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anson Mahoney got free with Jimmy Rangel in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lehigh Valley Vipers's Kent Brady got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vince Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anson Mahoney kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lehigh Valley Vipers's Lanny Hayes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Jaffrey's Stanley Frazier got a free kick in the 88th minute. Jaffrey's Jimmy Rangel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Jaffrey from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Jaffrey's zone, Kent Brady stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Rangel came out of the goal and Kent Brady tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
