The supporters of FC Fords booed when Morris Plains was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Cabourne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Cleto Erdiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Duff in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, FC Fords's Alberto Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bo Cabourne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Morris Plains's zone, Franklin Bright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Cabourne came out of the goal and Franklin Bright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Franklin Bright made a precise shot to the right of Bo Cabourne. Morris Plains's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ethan Albrecht hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Fords had played much better football throughout.
