Bret Austin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reuben Yang. Mount Healthy Heights FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mount Healthy Heights FC's Reuben Yang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rico Andrade in the 30th minute of play. When Ringwood AFC's Aaron Castro in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rico Andrade stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilford Benjamin came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mount Healthy Heights FC's Jed Hogue. But to his dismay, Jed Hogue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Dirk Rucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rico Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ringwood AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rico Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reuben Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Castro got free with Reuben Yang in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Dirk Rucker notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ringwood AFC's Wilford Benjamin. Wilford Benjamin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilford Benjamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Cornett in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Dirk Rucker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mount Healthy Heights FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Mount Healthy Heights FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ringwood AFC for a fine match.
