Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kasey Houser got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Kasey Houser cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dexter Pierson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 9 minutes, Garry Mitchell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pocatello AFC and the Woodward players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pocatello AFC's Garry Mitchell got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Odell Teague managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pocatello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Odell Teague was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dexter Pierson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Jonas Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Barth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, Pocatello AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Snell to maneuver through the defense. Odell Teague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Glenn Cronshagen rounded Pocatello AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Garret Johns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Cronshagen in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Woodward's zone, Kasey Houser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dexter Pierson came out of the goal and Kasey Houser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Glenn Cronshagen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Glenn Cronshagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garret Johns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Glenn Cronshagen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garret Johns was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Young Huddleston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garret Johns having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Pocatello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Cronshagen came free, but Garret Johns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodward's goalkeeper Dexter Pierson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Young Huddleston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pocatello AFC's Garret Johns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dexter Pierson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odell Teague in the 63rd minute. Garry Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Kasey Houser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dexter Pierson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Huddleston in the 80th minute of play forced Pocatello AFC's goalkeeper Garret Johns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odell Teague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dexter Pierson having to interfere. The Woodward fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pocatello AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
