In the 20th match minute, Wayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilford Smart to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jeramy Le Van managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshfield Hills's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeramy Le Van was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thurman Sheehan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilford Smart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kareem Mahoney having to interfere. Wayne FC's Thurman Sheehan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wayne FC from getting a goal against them. Kareem Mahoney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Harrison in the 33rd minute of play. Wilford Smart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilford Smart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Thurman Sheehan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

Kareem Mahoney made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ari Harrison sent off a good shot on target. If Ryan Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kareem Mahoney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilford Smart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ari Harrison came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Wayne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ari Harrison couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Doe kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Marshfield Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Wilford Smart came free, but Kareem Mahoney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wayne FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
