Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when DeAndre Parr kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gallipolis AFC's Bronson Parham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Merle Hastings. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the game, Eliseo Moser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gallipolis AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mountain Iron the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gallipolis AFC's Eliseo Moser got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Mountain Iron's Waldo Locke in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gallipolis AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Bronson Parham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bronson Parham who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Merle Hastings when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bronson Parham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Merle Hastings made a huge save. In the 26th minute, DeAndre Parr fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Merle Hastings, passed just outside the right post. Colin Fuller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mountain Iron's zone, Bronson Parham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merle Hastings came out of the goal and Bronson Parham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colin Fuller blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sherwood Story having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Mountain Iron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bronson Parham fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 41 played minutes Gallipolis AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sheldon Park. When Colin Fuller came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mountain Iron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colin Fuller couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colin Fuller to make the kick off. Bronson Parham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merle Hastings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When Waldo Locke came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mountain Iron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldo Locke couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes in the game, Colin Fuller fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sherwood Story having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Colin Fuller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gallipolis AFC's Sherwood Story was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mountain Iron's zone, Bronson Parham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merle Hastings came out of the goal and Bronson Parham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DeAndre Parr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merle Hastings having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Colin Fuller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountain Iron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Colin Fuller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldo Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sherwood Story having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colin Fuller in the 77th minute of play forced Gallipolis AFC's goalkeeper Sherwood Story to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If DeAndre Parr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DeAndre Parr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldo Locke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sherwood Story having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Waldo Locke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gallipolis AFC's goalkeeper Sherwood Story, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gallipolis AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mountain Iron for a fine match.
