When Anna's Geraldo Raymond in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Miami FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dane Parham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Raymond in the 5th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Sherwood Mims successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Villegas during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Anna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Villegas to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18thth minute of the game Colby Epps who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miami FC's Dane Parham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Anna got a freekick which was hit by John Guinn. Dane Parham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colby Epps in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Emery MacMillan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casey Purvis lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Miami FC's Reggie Colvin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sherwood Mims. When Geraldo Raymond fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anna's protests and gave Geraldo Raymond a yellow card for diving instead. Geraldo Raymond hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sherwood Mims came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Miami FC's Darron Cummins. But to his dismay, Darron Cummins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Dana Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emery MacMillan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geraldo Raymond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Geraldo Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Dana Gallardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miami FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dana Gallardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sherwood Mims breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anna's Geraldo Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephan Lott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dane Parham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Miami FC's goalkeeper Dane Parham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Raymond. 80 minutes into the match, Anna's John Guinn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dane Parham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Anna were awarded a corner. Frank Villegas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Frank Villegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Miami FC's Dane Parham did a great save. In the 91st minute of the match Reggie Colvin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sherwood Mims showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anna's Sherwood Mims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Colvin in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miami FC.
