Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Arturo Bacon made the kick off and thus started the match. Fauve FC's Joesph Cormier got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Adrian Grace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Crabtree saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Grace received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ned Crabtree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Ray Harper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Harper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gilbert's Adrian Grace in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fauve FC's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Fauve FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Grace came free, but Ned Crabtree reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ned Crabtree came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gilbert's Adrian Grace. But to his dismay, Adrian Grace quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Grace in the 26th minute of play forced Fauve FC's goalkeeper Ned Crabtree to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fauve FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Arthur Samuels hit a great ball. Ray Harper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ned Crabtree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, James Cronshagen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fauve FC and the Gilbert players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilbert's Adrian Grace got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Grace in the 41st minute of play forced Fauve FC's goalkeeper Ned Crabtree to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fauve FC's Cary Atwood got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes, Gilbert's Theron Blackwell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ned Crabtree came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gilbert reached it. 48 minutes into the game, Gilbert's Ray Harper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ned Crabtree made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

When Oscar Jewell came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gilbert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Jewell couldn't finish the play. Joesph Cormier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ignacio Addison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Addison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Bacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Adrian Grace fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Crabtree having to interfere. The supporters of Fauve FC booed when Gilbert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phil Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merrill McGee, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ignacio Addison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joesph Cormier in the 74th minute of play. Ignacio Addison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joesph Cormier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gilbert booed when Fauve FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cary Atwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ray Harper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ned Crabtree made a huge save. After having played for 87 minutes, Arturo Bacon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fauve FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Bacon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 played minutes Gilbert got a freekick which was hit by Phil Arias. Arturo Bacon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignacio Addison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Joesph Cormier took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignacio Addison. Ignacio Addison dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle sounded Gilbert left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fauve FC.
