Fauve FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Fauve FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cary Atwood hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Matthew Vilter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ned Crabtree was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Matthew Vilter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ned Crabtree tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fauve FC booed when Armenian Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chad Cerna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Garry Garland sped through Fauve FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ned Crabtree. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthew Vilter in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ned Crabtree saved Fauve FC from getting behind. Jesse Weldon was a little too slow when Arturo Bacon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Armenian Devils's zone, Joesph Cormier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesse Weldon came out of the goal and Joesph Cormier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joesph Cormier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jesse Weldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesse Weldon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Bacon in the 90th minute of play. Armenian Devils's Jesse Weldon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Armenian Devils from getting a goal against them. Joesph Cormier struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jesse Weldon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fauve FC. The Armenian Devils players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
