After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Damian Lusk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berwick AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Lusk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Homer Vilter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berwick AFC's Jasper Kyle got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tory Salazar hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Dale Evans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Darin Roberts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Homer Vilter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Lusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Homer Vilter came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Berwick AFC's Damian Lusk. But to his dismay, Damian Lusk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Berwick AFC's Damian Lusk in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oak Hills AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jasper Kyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Jasper Kyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Homer Vilter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Damian Lusk managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 36 minutes, Tory Salazar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oak Hills AFC and the Berwick AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tory Salazar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Oak Hills AFC's Homer Vilter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Kyle in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Berwick AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leland Bernal hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Stephen Felder fired a really elegant long shot, but Darin Roberts threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Damian Lusk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Homer Vilter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. A hard shot 45 in the game by Cameron Griffith from a close distance when the talented Darin Roberts managed to make a qualified save. Berwick AFC's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Evans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Berwick AFC's Donovan Choi got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Damian Lusk came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Berwick AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Lusk couldn't finish the play. Damian Lusk might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Homer Vilter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Lusk ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Oak Hills AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Lusk came free, but Homer Vilter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Tory Salazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Oak Hills AFC's goalkeeper Homer Vilter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jasper Kyle. Damian Lusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Felder kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. With a little luck, Oak Hills AFC's Homer Vilter got control of the ball when Jasper Kyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Berwick AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
