Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) Malcolm Maurer made the kick off and thus started the match. Malcolm Maurer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ed Whitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickie Logan having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Malcolm Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ed Whitt in the 14th minute of play forced Benicia's goalkeeper Rickie Logan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Velazquez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Rickie Logan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Shaun Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Parchment FC's Dallas Velazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ed Whitt took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rickie Logan to make any attempt to save it. Jeff Bush kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Shaun Smith charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaun Smith the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 35 minutes, Jeff Bush managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parchment FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeff Bush was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickie Logan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dallas Velazquez in the 37th minute. Jeremiah Marrero's late challenge caught a Parchment FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremiah Marrero helped the player get up and apologised. Jeremiah Marrero kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Benicia's goalkeeper Rickie Logan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jon Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Parchment FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Bush to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Benicia were awarded a corner. Merle Stroh went to the cornerflag to take it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ed Whitt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Parchment FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shaun Smith came free, but Roderick Pritchett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickie Logan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Whitt in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58thth minute of the game Ed Whitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benicia's Rickie Logan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roderick Pritchett made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jon Doherty sent off a good shot on target. Drew Darling kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ed Whitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dallas Velazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickie Logan having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ed Whitt in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickie Logan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ed Whitt scored 3-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickie Logan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jon Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roderick Pritchett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Maurer in the 87th minute of the match. Jon Doherty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Roderick Pritchett made a huge save. Benicia's Rickie Logan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dallas Velazquez in the 93rd minute of play. Parchment FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
