Spectators: 7424 (Terracing: 5569, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) Denny Conrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joey Looney in the 3rd minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Matthew Cahill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alpena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frostbolt FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alpena's Matthew Cahill got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th match minute, Alpena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Aviles to maneuver through the defense. Cobi Chacon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dirk Green tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cobi Chacon in the 14th minute of play forced Alpena's goalkeeper Dirk Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solomon Rutherford who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Dirk Green when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 21stth minute of the game Solomon Rutherford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpena's Dirk Green was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Solomon Rutherford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dirk Green was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Solomon Rutherford took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dirk Green to make any attempt to save it. Matthew Cahill took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denny Conrad. Denny Conrad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Solomon Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dirk Green having to interfere. Alpena's Dirk Green played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobi Chacon in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Solomon Rutherford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpena's Dirk Green was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Solomon Rutherford did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Dirk Green 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rusty Carmichael made the kick off in the second half. When Frostbolt FC's Solomon Rutherford in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alpena's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solomon Rutherford in the 55th minute of play forced Alpena's goalkeeper Dirk Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Solomon Rutherford put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dirk Green. 62 minutes into the match, Frostbolt FC's Tuan Durham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Green narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denny Conrad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusty Carmichael in the 66th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Alpena got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Cahill. 77 minutes into the match, Frostbolt FC's Teddy Hayes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dirk Green narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Frostbolt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Looney came free, but Denny Conrad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alpena's Rusty Carmichael slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denny Conrad. That made the score 4-2 after 79 minutes of play. When Virgil Benjamin fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpena's protests and gave Virgil Benjamin a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Alpena got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Benjamin. After having played for 85 minutes, Cobi Chacon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frostbolt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cobi Chacon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Green came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Frostbolt FC's Solomon Rutherford. But to his dismay, Solomon Rutherford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Dirk Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Solomon Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Solomon Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frostbolt FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
