Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Maple Grove's goal looked a bit too open when Daren Villa came free, but Glenn Wood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levi Ward scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glenn Wood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maple Grove's goalkeeper Glenn Wood, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mos Eisley FC's Trent Doss got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ed Ali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Benedict Sykes made a huge save. Wilton McClure hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Glenn Wood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daren Villa in the 34th minute of play. When Ken Griffith, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Glenn Wood was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Mos Eisley FC's Ken Griffith in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maple Grove's goalie prevented a goal. If Daren Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Maple Grove getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Wilton McClure hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Mos Eisley FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Winters. Daren Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blair Vernon to strike the kick off in the second half. Blair Vernon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Sykes having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Maple Grove:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mos Eisley FC:s goal. Daren Villa walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 69th minute, Dwight Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Blair Vernon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maple Grove's supporters rose to their feet, but Blair Vernon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedict Sykes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Ken Griffith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glenn Wood. Maple Grove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ken Griffith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Daren Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Glenn Wood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Wood made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ken Griffith sent off a good shot on target. Cedric Vasquez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Maple Grove's Glenn Wood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daren Villa in the 93rd minute of play. Maple Grove's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Daren Villa scored to the left of an out of position Glenn Wood, making the score, 0-4.
