Ethan Leary started the match with the kick off. When Earl Messer fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buena FC's protests and gave Earl Messer a yellow card for diving instead. Earl Messer kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Philip Ackerman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Nicholas Parrish was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Ethan Leary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buena FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ethan Leary was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Will Alexander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kermit Stokes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Nickerson in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gringous Virgous's zone, Kermit Stokes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Alexander came out of the goal and Kermit Stokes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 played minutes Buena FC got a freekick which was hit by Ethan Leary. After having played for 34 minutes, Ronny Burnham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gringous Virgous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Burnham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gringous Virgous booed when Buena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earl Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allen Nicholas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Ferguson having to interfere. Buena FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dominic Nickerson 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Kermit Stokes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dominic Nickerson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Allen Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gringous Virgous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allen Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ethan Leary sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Gringous Virgous's Will Alexander got control of the ball when Kermit Stokes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kermit Stokes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Will Alexander having to make a save. Buena FC's Ethan Leary got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Allen Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gringous Virgous's supporters rose to their feet, but Allen Nicholas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathan Ferguson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gringous Virgous getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dominic Nickerson hit a great ball. Kermit Stokes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Alexander having to interfere. Dominic Nickerson took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nathan Ferguson. Nathan Ferguson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
