The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shaun Martinez during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Shaun Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sanford Huff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mason MacKenzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Damien Crane could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Dennis Massey however easily saved by the left post. Soda Springs's Woodrow Staton got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sanford Huff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mason MacKenzie in the 38th minute of the match.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Claude Acuna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyncote's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Acuna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sanford Huff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Roland Cormier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedict Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Massey having to interfere. Mason MacKenzie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Sanford Huff made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Soda Springs's Blaine Fortune seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Blaine Fortune the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soda Springs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Blaine Fortune had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Soda Springs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wyncote:s goal. Soda Springs:s Sanford Huff showed great skill when he stopped Nathanial Montgomery:s penalty. With a little luck, Soda Springs's Sanford Huff got control of the ball when Shaun Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soda Springs's zone, Shaun Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sanford Huff came out of the goal and Shaun Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Sanford Huff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mason MacKenzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Damien Crane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Massey. Wyncote's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damien Crane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wyncote players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soda Springs.
