One of Antonio FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcanar Club de Fútbol:s goal. Rickard Jespersson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 16 minutes into the match, Antonio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daren Vang came free, but Val Blackwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alcanar Club de Fútbol booed when Antonio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josiah Reilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daren Vang in the 18th minute of play forced Antonio FC's goalkeeper Val Blackwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francis Felton hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Algot Groth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parker Larson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Raymundo Phelps had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Algot Groth. Alcanar Club de Fútbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymundo Phelps was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Alcanar Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Raymundo Phelps came free, but Algot Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymundo Phelps in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Groth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Rickard Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Antonio FC's Conrad Bonds broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raymundo Phelps to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Alcanar Club de Fútbol getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wilbert Benoit hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes Alcanar Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Francis Felton. Parker Larsons short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Algot Groth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Alcanar Club de Fútbol's zone, Parker Larson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algot Groth came out of the goal and Parker Larson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, Alcanar Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Jespersson to maneuver through the defense. Parker Larson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Algot Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josiah Reilly in the 74th minute of play. When Raymundo Phelps fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antonio FC's protests and gave Raymundo Phelps a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alcanar Club de Fútbol booed when Antonio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Phelps didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algot Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymundo Phelps in the 77th minute of the match. Gilbert Giles was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game.
