Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Waldo Carrasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Seth Rasmussen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dwayne Freeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Rasmussen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 5thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Brackenridge AFC's keeper Dwayne Freeman was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 7 played minutes Somaspor got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Root. Somaspor's Brock Clemons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Brunson in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Brackenridge AFC booed when Somaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Granger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brock Clemons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Cabourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Antonio MacWilliams tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dwayne Freeman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Seth Rasmussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Somaspor's Brock Clemons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Cabourne in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brackenridge AFC's Tyrone Romano got a free kick in the 31st minute. Brock Clemons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Marsh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Somaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Brunson came free, but Brock Clemons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Cabourne in the 41st minute of play forced Somaspor's goalkeeper Brock Clemons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Brackenridge AFC's Eliseo Marsh in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Somaspor's goalie prevented a goal. When Somaspor's Waldo Carrasco, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Somaspor. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Marsh to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio MacWilliams in the 52nd minute of play forced Brackenridge AFC's goalkeeper Dwayne Freeman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Barry Cabourne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Brock Clemons. The goal made the score 0-1. Brock Clemons was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Teodoro Brunson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro Brunson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Somaspor's Antonio MacWilliams got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antonio MacWilliams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brock Clemons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Marsh, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Brunson got free with Brock Clemons in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro Brunson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brock Clemons came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Brunson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 78th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brackenridge AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
