Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 40) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Casey Albrecht made the kick off which started today's match. Miguel Montoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Davies having to interfere. Casey Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute, Bailey Lunsford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brent Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chuck Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Albrecht in the 12th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Casey Albrecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casselberry's Chuck Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Ithaca AFC's Casey Albrecht made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chuck Davies was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Ithaca AFC's Casey Albrecht nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chuck Davies made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Casselberry's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Montoya came free, but Chuck Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Albrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Davies having to interfere. Casey Albrecht received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Chuck Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ithaca AFC's Miguel Montoya got a free kick in the 29th minute. Edward Posey's late challenge caught a Casselberry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Posey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Casselberry booed when Ithaca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Posey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuck Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Albrecht in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Damian McBride got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ithaca AFC's goalkeeper Duke Schaefer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Albrecht in the 47th minute of play forced Casselberry's goalkeeper Chuck Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian McBride made a kick off. A collision led to Casselberry getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Levi Rose hit a great ball. Ted Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Damian McBride managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casselberry's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian McBride was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duke Schaefer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ithaca AFC's Duke Schaefer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Ithaca AFC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Miguel Montoya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ithaca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Montoya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Davies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chuck Davies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Albrecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Ithaca AFC's attentive Romeo Schulz managed to snatch the ball when Anthony Powell made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. Casey Albrecht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute of the match Ithaca AFC got a corner. Casselberry's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brent Gallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 79th minute, Casey Albrecht ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chuck Davies was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 86th minute, Casey Albrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Quincy Barry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Schaefer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Miguel Montoya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ithaca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Montoya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chuck Davies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Casselberry's Quincy Barry dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Ithaca AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
