Spectators: 7353 (Terracing: 5515, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) Hector Rubio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hector Rubio took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Malone. Ernesto Malone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hector Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ernesto Malone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Kory Jeffries hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Hector Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Malone was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Emerson Puckett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Malone was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Wiley Hinson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scottie Hinds in the 21st minute. Wiley Hinson was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Scottie Hinds capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Scottie Hinds really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Scottie Hinds scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiley Hinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute of the match Willie Daugherty shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ernesto Malone showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elton Woodruff struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ernesto Malone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C Blue Star. 41 minutes into the match, A.C Blue Star's goal looked a bit too open when Tyler Haywood came free, but Wiley Hinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiley Hinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Haywood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scottie Hindss short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Wiley Hinson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyler Haywood stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tyler Haywood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.C Blue Star's Wiley Hinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scottie Hinds in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Elton Woodruff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C Blue Star's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elton Woodruff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Hector Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C Blue Star's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Winterset's Tyler Haywood in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C Blue Star's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Gustavo Langford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.C Blue Star's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winterset the free kick. Ernesto Malone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elton Woodruff in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes A.C Blue Star got a freekick which was hit by Elton Woodruff. 80 minutes into the game, Tyler Haywood cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Wiley Hinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Winterset's Scottie Hinds sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiley Hinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wiley Hinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scottie Hinds, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Hector Rubio rounded Winterset's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. If Tyler Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyler Haywood in the 96th minute of play forced A.C Blue Star's goalkeeper Wiley Hinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Winterset were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A.C Blue Star for a fine match.
