Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 0) Tyler Haywood started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Denis Ackerman's late challenge caught a GAIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Ackerman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Winterset's Denis Ackerman got a free kick in the 6th minute. Salvatore Bower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Winterset's Ernesto Malone got control of the ball when Salvatore Bower tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Malone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guy Curtis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, one of Winterset:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Winterset. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for GAIS. Ricardo Lang stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Malone. 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, GAIS's Guy Curtis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Malone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Scottie Hinds blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Middleton having to make a save. Scottie Hinds fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Middleton having to interfere. If Tyler Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GAIS's Salvatore Bower got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kory Jeffries kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Donovan Alonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Malone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Malone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guy Curtis's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Denis Ackerman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guy Curtis to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Middleton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Haywood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Eusebio Maloney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvatore Bower fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Malone having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Winterset got a freekick which was hit by Denis Ackerman. After having played for 66 minutes, Guy Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Curtis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Salvatore Bower left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Winterset's Ernesto Malone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guy Curtis in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvatore Bower in the 76th minute of play forced Winterset's goalkeeper Ernesto Malone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Guy Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Curtis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Malone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvatore Bower got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ernesto Malone handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Winterset got a freekick which was hit by Tyler Haywood. Salvatore Bower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Guy Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guy Curtis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Middleton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scottie Hinds went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Guy Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvatore Bower took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Malone. Ernesto Malone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GAIS fully deserved thier win.
