Werner Beam's late challenge caught a Chelan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Werner Beam helped the player get up and apologised. Domenic Hamilton, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Eduardo Ricks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wilson Bassett took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kurt Edmondson. Eagan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chelan's Zachery Espinoza got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Tommy Tate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelan the free kick. A collision led to Eagan FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tommy Tate hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Mann in the 24th minute of play forced Eagan FC's goalkeeper Kurt Edmondson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Deshawn Harmon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelan and the Eagan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eagan FC's Guy Stroh got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Uster to strike the kick off in the second half. Kirk Gifford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rufus Bryson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Jack Uster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kirk Gifford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, George Mann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Edmondson. Eagan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Mann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. George Mann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kurt Edmondson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winston Stearns might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Edmondson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Winston Stearns ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the game, Guy Stroh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagan FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelan the free kick. Guy Stroh kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute George Mann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Edmondson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Stroh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirk Gifford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Kurt Edmondson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Mann in the 84th minute of the match. When Werner Beam was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. 85 minutes into the game, one of Eagan FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience was convinced that George Mann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Edmondson was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Eagan FC's goal looked a bit too open when George Mann came free, but Kurt Edmondson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Eagan FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chelan's performance. The match ended with a win for Chelan.
