Tommy Tate charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Tate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Tate kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Hyannis's Manuel Boswell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kurt Edmondson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hayden Tang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Kurt Edmondson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Edmondson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Boswell in the 11th minute of the match. Wilton Brown hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hyannis's Kory Brantley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Hyannis from getting a goal against them. Kurt Edmondson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Boswell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Hayden Tang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kurt Edmondson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton Brown during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Eagan FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hyannis:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guy Stroh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Dante McLaughlin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hyannis and the Eagan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Hyannis got a freekick which was hit by Dante McLaughlin. If Guy Stroh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kory Brantley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy Stroh, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kurt Edmondson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Tang in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Eagan FC booed when Hyannis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Cotton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Eagan FC's Markus Laird tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jack Uster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kory Brantley having to interfere. If Hayden Tang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Edmondson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Tang in the 82nd minute of the match. Manuel Boswell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eagan FC's Kurt Edmondson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayden Tang in the 86th minute of play. When Guy Stroh came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Eagan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guy Stroh couldn't finish the play. 100 minutes into the game, Hayden Tang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurt Edmondson. Hayden Tang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hyannis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
