Rafael Darnell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Björn Wolfer made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Darnell. Elk City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 19th minute Björn Wolfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Darnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell Frank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Björn Wolfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Darnell having to interfere. If Zane Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Dinei de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nisse Johansson Memorial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elk City FC the free kick. Eddy Mathews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zane Swanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rafael Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Elk City FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitchell Frank. James Willingham hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 58th minute Mitchell Frank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwayne Knutson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nisse Johansson Memorial's Zane Swanson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Elk City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zane Swanson came free, but Rafael Darnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Nisse Johansson Memorial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Swanson to maneuver through the defense. Björn Wolfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rafael Darnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Darnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Wolfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 98 minutes, Björn Wolfer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nisse Johansson Memorial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Wolfer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
