After 15 minutes, Mitchell Gauthier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bay Minette and the Tryon Town FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bay Minette getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mitchell Gauthier hit a great ball. Zygmunt Rekawiczka took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliot Fujieda. Elliot Fujieda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, Florent Hoxha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Elliot Fujieda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brandon Holliday fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Fujieda having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Boyce Traylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bay Minette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tryon Town FC the free kick. Boyce Traylor kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Holliday in the 40th minute of play forced Bay Minette's goalkeeper Elliot Fujieda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mitchell Gauthier made the kick off in the second half. Brandon Holliday received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elliot Fujieda came out and tried to block the shot, but Brandon Holliday slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Rekawiczka got free with Elliot Fujieda in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zygmunt Rekawiczka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. When the match was over Tryon Town FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bay Minette throughout the match.
