When Coram's Ethan Harrell in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carnegie's goalie prevented a goal. Denver Mason made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Maurice Borden sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Travis Stephenson in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denver Mason prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Travis Stephenson's late challenge caught a Coram's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Travis Stephenson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Carnegie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Travis Stephenson to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match, Travis Stephenson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Denver Mason saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Travis Stephenson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Mason having to interfere. Mark Starnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Ball, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Starnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Ball, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Maurice Borden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Ethan Harrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Starnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurice Borden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denver Mason having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Manuel Caballero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coram's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carnegie the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Carnegie's zone, Ethan Harrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Starnes came out of the goal and Ethan Harrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Ethan Harrell made a precise shot to the right of Mark Starnes. Carnegie's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The Carnegie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coram were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ethan Harrell to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Elliott Ball shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Starnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Coram's Ethan Harrell got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ethan Harrell struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Mark Starnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coram. After 66 played minutes Carnegie got a freekick which was hit by Kareem Finch. Elliott Ball sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, Carnegie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Hillman to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Maurice Borden notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Coram's Denver Mason. Denver Mason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Mark Starnes managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Coram's Elliott Ball fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lyle Quinones charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lyle Quinones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Carnegie's zone, Ethan Harrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Starnes came out of the goal and Ethan Harrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Coram's Manuel Caballero got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Travis Stephenson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ethan Harrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Starnes. That made the score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Elliott Ball managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coram's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Ball was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Carnegie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coram's performance. The match ended with a win for Coram.
