Mark Starnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrod Longoria in the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carnegie's zone, Ernest Godfrey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Starnes came out of the goal and Ernest Godfrey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mark Starnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Wise, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute, Travis Stephenson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gregory Madrid, passed just outside the right post. Travis Stephenson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gregory Madrid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnegie. Allan Rosenberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Ernest Godfrey made the kick off in the second half. Cyrus Wise's late challenge caught a Carnegie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyrus Wise helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Falcon FC got a freekick which was hit by Cyrus Wise. An unexpectedly hard shot by Travis Stephenson in the 52nd minute of play forced Falcon FC's goalkeeper Gregory Madrid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carnegie's Steven Robinson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ernest Godfrey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Mark Starnes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cyrus Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mark Starnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Laird kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gregory Madrid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Travis Stephenson in the 70th minute of play. Carnegie's Mark Starnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrod Longoria in the 79th minute of play. Mark Starnes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrus Wise in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Ernest Godfrey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Starnes was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the game, Harvey Mann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
