In the 19th minute, Mitchell Melvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathon Jimenez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonathon Jimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Braswell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Braswell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jonathon Jimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Tuan Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Moreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathon Jimenez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitchell Melvin in the 35th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuan Schultz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mitchell Melvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, Dubuque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian French to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Tuan Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Moreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Benito Braswell put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathon Jimenez. ALL STARS's Joe Seals was substituted for Jacob Arellano. There was no doubt that ALL STARS were the better team. ALL STARS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
