Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Darnell Tabor took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 12th minute, Thanh Cegielski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saraland's Darnell Tabor got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Earl Cox notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Festus FC's William Zaragoza. William Zaragoza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tyson Herndon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Layton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathon Merritt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Larry Sargent hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Rory Numbers charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Numbers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rory Numbers kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Festus FC's Antony Arden made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyson Herndon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Dustin Maxwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyson Herndon having to interfere. In the 60th minute Darnell Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Zaragoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanh Lusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zaragoza having to interfere. If Darnell Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darnell Tabor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Krause kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rory Numbers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Zaragoza. Festus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match, Dustin Maxwell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tyson Herndon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dustin Maxwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saraland's Tyson Herndon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Arden in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Thanh Lusk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Festus FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
