After recieving a nice pass, Pine Grove's Davis Hilliard tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Pine Grove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garry Tinsley struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Taylor Vega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. After 13 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ernst. In the 14th minute of the match Davis Hilliard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikolaj Chazon skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Pine Grove's William Hightower nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Chazon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mikolaj Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrett Wallace, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. William Hightower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Taylor Vega made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Scotty Vasquez sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pine Grove booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scotty Vasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes, Garrett Wallace mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pine Grove and the Real Madrid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Pine Grove got a freekick which was hit by Garrett Wallace. After having played for 42 minutes, William Hightower managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pine Grove's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Hightower was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ruben Link hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Hightower to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Madrid's Garry Tinsley got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Hightower sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scotty Vasquez in the 79th minute of play forced Pine Grove's goalkeeper Taylor Vega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Madrid were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Pine Grove's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lyle Dawson took the corner. The corner led Real Madrid's Lyle Dawson to fire away a dangerous shot which Taylor Vega despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Scotty Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Scotty Vasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taylor Vega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garry Tinsley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scotty Vasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taylor Vega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Scotty Vasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Taylor Vega came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid's Garry Tinsley. But to his dismay, Garry Tinsley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
