Sung Nunez might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale King. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sung Nunez ran back to his position shaking his head. Brice Judd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Waters in the 7th minute of play. Brice Judd came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by West Milford's Cary Begay. But to his dismay, Cary Begay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Terry Terry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dale King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sung Nunez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale King having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Leland Dougherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Milford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CANADA the free kick. Leland Dougherty kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, West Milford's Patrick Waters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brice Judd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Taylor Newcomb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale King having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Leland Dougherty made a precise shot to the right of Brice Judd. CANADA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 32nd minute Cary Begay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Judd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Waters scored 0-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brice Judd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, West Milford's goal looked a bit too open when Sung Nunez came free, but Dale King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale King came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by CANADA's Quincy Parker. But to his dismay, Quincy Parker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Sung Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dale King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, West Milford's goalkeeper Dale King had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Taylor Newcomb. Dale King stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sung Nunez's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The CANADA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Milford were winning 1-4.

Ronald Tinsley's late challenge caught a West Milford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronald Tinsley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, CANADA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Tinsley to maneuver through the defense. Emery Louis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Milford's goalkeeper Dale King, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. West Milford's Dale King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sung Nunez in the 58th minute of play. Chance Mims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Tinsley in the 65th minute of play. Sung Nunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taylor Newcomb struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dale King didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANADA. After having played for 74 minutes, Taylor Newcomb managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taylor Newcomb was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Taylor Newcomb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Ronald Tinsley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dale King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Terry in the 92nd minute of the match. Sung Nunez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale King having to interfere. West Milford were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over CANADA's much stronger midfield.
