An unexpectedly hard shot by Wallace Ferris in the 13th minute of play forced Watsonville FC's goalkeeper Matthew Holbrook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sergio Roth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Watsonville FC booed when Loganville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Brown didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weldon Crowell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Hinkle in the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Sherwood Hinkle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watsonville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherwood Hinkle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Roth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Weldon Crowell made a huge save. Theodore Brown hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Watsonville FC's corner Edgardo Gaines fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Weldon Crowell quite easily take care of the ball. Sergio Roth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Weldon Crowell made a huge save. Wallace Ferris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Holbrook having to interfere. In the 44th minute Sherwood Hinkle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weldon Crowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wallace Ferris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Holbrook having to interfere. If Rodolfo Veltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Veltman made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Watsonville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wallace Ferris came free, but Matthew Holbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colby Dwyer kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sherwood Hinkle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Weldon Crowell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Loganville's Weldon Crowell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherwood Hinkle in the 62nd minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Watsonville FC's Sergio Roth made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weldon Crowell was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71stth minute of the game Sergio Roth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loganville's Weldon Crowell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Logan Eason managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watsonville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Logan Eason was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Sherwood Hinkle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Weldon Crowell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rodolfo Veltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Weldon Crowell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherwood Hinkle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthew Holbrook made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Wallace Ferris sent off a good shot on target.
