Spectators: 7351 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cole Jacob started the match with the kick off. Denis Barnhart was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute there was a penalty for Opelika AFC. Scotty Higgins stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Valrot. 0-1. In the 9thth minute of the game Kenny Lewis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunav Ruse's Victor Valrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Noli Pirimachos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ruben Clark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Clark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walton Cummings in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Walton Cummings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kip Braswell came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Opelika AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kip Braswell couldn't finish the play. Ruben Clark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnson Jeffers in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Johnson Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Clark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Cason Hayden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnson Jeffers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ruben Clark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Johnson Jeffers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ruben Clark was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johnson Jeffers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Dunav Ruse's Noli Pirimachos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Clark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Noli Pirimachos scored 4-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruben Clark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Opelika AFC's Ruben Clark got control of the ball when Noli Pirimachos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Lewis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Opelika AFC's Scotty Higgins got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute Johnson Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Clark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Johnson Jeffers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Clark came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunav Ruse's Noli Pirimachos. But to his dismay, Noli Pirimachos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Noli Pirimachos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ruben Clark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richie Smart struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ruben Clark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunav Ruse. Noli Pirimachos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ruben Clark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noli Pirimachos took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Clark. Ruben Clark dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. A collision led to Dunav Ruse getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Noli Pirimachos hit a great ball. Noli Pirimachos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Scotty Higgins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Dunav Ruse's goalkeeper Victor Valrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny Lewis. Victor Valrot made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Kenny Lewis sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Kenny Lewis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Valrot, 6-2. There was no doubt that Dunav Ruse were the better team. Dunav Ruse's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
