Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) San Bernardino's Wes Sneed started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clayton Winslow, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Spanish Fort FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lorenzo Rainey hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, San Bernardino's Dario Mercado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Shayne Quintana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Rainey's late challenge caught a San Bernardino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Rainey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute of the match, Wes Sneed tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Shayne Quintana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dario Mercado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Spanish Fort FC's Lorenzo Rainey in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Bernardino's goalie prevented a goal. Shayne Quintana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Sneed in the 28th minute of play. San Bernardino's Dario Mercado got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wes Sneed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shayne Quintana having to interfere. Korey Goode recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Dario Mercado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Alonzo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 64 minutes, Emery Feldman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Bernardino and the Spanish Fort FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Bernardino's Emery Feldman got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Spanish Fort FC's Ian Alonzo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Shannon Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Alonzo in the 68th minute of play. Shannon Hurley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Korey Goode showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Shayne Quintana came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by San Bernardino's Wes Sneed. But to his dismay, Wes Sneed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Shannon Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Alonzo in the 89th minute of the match. Ian Alonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 97 minutes into the game, Christian Bynum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spanish Fort FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Bernardino the free kick. Christian Bynum hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spanish Fort FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
