Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) Errol Park made the kick off and thus started the match. Zebulon AFC's Mervin Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Errol Park in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Tipp City's Harry Herron ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mervin Valle. Mervin Valle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milton Amos in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giuseppe Guerra saved Tipp City from getting behind. Mervin Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errol Park in the 21st minute of play. Giuseppe Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Guinn in the 23rd minute of play. Giuseppe Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Amos in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tipp City defense, Milton Amos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Guerra. The Tipp City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Guerra should have stopped the shot. Milton Amos might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milton Amos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Dane Marin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tipp City's Giuseppe Guerra didn't even have to move. 42 minutes into the match, Zebulon AFC's Milton Amos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giuseppe Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralph Guinn was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Zebulon AFC booed when Tipp City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pat Muniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Tipp City's goalkeeper Giuseppe Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milton Amos. In the 65th minute, Zebulon AFC's Ralph Guinn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giuseppe Guerra. Giuseppe Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milton Amos got free with Giuseppe Guerra in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Milton Amos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Errol Park received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mervin Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Harry Herron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mervin Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Harry Herron came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tipp City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Herron couldn't finish the play. Giuseppe Guerra made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Milton Amos sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Duke Mathews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Guinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Ralph Guinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
