Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rubidoux AFC's Santo Rainey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO ORO's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Rainey came free, but Lee Feliciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Trinidad Dean came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the DEPORTIVO ORO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trinidad Dean couldn't finish the play. If Sid Egan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Rubidoux AFC's Santo Rainey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Lee Feliciano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sid Egan in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Rubidoux AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Rainey to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Rocco Krueger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEPORTIVO ORO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubidoux AFC the free kick. In the 38th minute, Trinidad Dean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brant Larsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Sid Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubidoux AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Egan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO ORO's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Rainey came free, but Lee Feliciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Sid Egan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rubidoux AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Egan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Feliciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trinidad Dean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sid Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stanton Woodall fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rubidoux AFC's protests and gave Stanton Woodall a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rubidoux AFC! 83 minutes into the game, Sid Egan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Lee Feliciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th match minute, Rubidoux AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Hale to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO ORO's zone, Sid Egan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lee Feliciano came out of the goal and Sid Egan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO ORO's Joe Worthington got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute Santo Rainey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Feliciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Rainey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Rubidoux AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
