Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tad Dugan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. D.J. Kline received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Danial Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tad Dugan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. D.J. The supporters of Derby FC booed when Waupun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Cooley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, D.J. Kline managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but D.J. Kline was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnold Thorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napoleon Latham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Acuna having to interfere. Marcellus Rojas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kevin Acuna. Derby FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Derby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hal Presley to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Acuna came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Waupun FC's Arnold Thorne. But to his dismay, Arnold Thorne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Napoleon Latham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Napoleon Latham made a kick off. Napoleon Latham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Acuna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Arnold Thorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Acuna having to interfere. Tad Dugan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from D.J. Kline in the 60th minute of play. Napoleon Latham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kevin Acuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Thorne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tad Dugan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Ramsey in the 68th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Arnold Thorne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kevin Acuna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80thth minute of the game D.J. Kline who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waupun FC's Tad Dugan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danial Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Waupun FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Solomon Abbott hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danial Ramsey in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tad Dugan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Waupun FC got a freekick which was hit by Solomon Abbott. Napoleon Latham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Acuna having to interfere. The Waupun FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Waupun FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
