The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnathan Ott was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Schultz might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Preston Morrow. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Johnathan Ott sped through Machali City FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Weston Hastings. Robin Cody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weston Hastings having to interfere. Sanford Rutledge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Preston Morrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weston Hastings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Ott in the 64th minute of play. When Denis Goff came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Machali City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Goff couldn't finish the play. Preston Morrow was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manuel Greenberg. The supporters of Machali City FC booed when New York Black Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Clifford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Denis Goff hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Machali City FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Schultz. Robin Cody struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Weston Hastings didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New York Black Eagles FC. After 91 minutes of play, New York Black Eagles FC's Robin Cody made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Weston Hastings was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New York Black Eagles FC had played much better football throughout.
