Ahmet Hasan Adsoys short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Duane Mercer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brushy Creek's Duane Mercer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Brushy Creek from getting a goal against them. Brushy Creek's Duane Mercer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Esquivel in the 91st minute of play. Duane Mercer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Burris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuck Galindo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Ailar Metsalu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brushy Creek. Homerville FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
