Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronny Richard got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Chadron AFC booed when Lakeland South was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merrill Gunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Richard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Graig Farr took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Collin Ruiz to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th match minute, Chadron AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Stjohn to maneuver through the defense. Collin Ruiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Art Huerta in the 30th minute. Art Huerta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Art Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Ruiz having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Graig Farr to strike the kick off in the second half. Stacy Swartz was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Frank Rosales capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Rosales really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lakeland South's goalkeeper Stacy Swartz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Ronny Richard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Frank Rosales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chadron AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Rosales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stacy Swartz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64thth minute of the game Art Huerta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chadron AFC's Collin Ruiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chadron AFC's Collin Ruiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Huerta in the 66th minute of play. Graig Farr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Collin Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Rosales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Frank Rosales came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Chadron AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Rosales couldn't finish the play. If Ronny Richard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-2 became the score in the 78th minute when Frank Rosales elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Art Huerta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Collin Ruiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89th play minutes Ronny Richard shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Stacy Swartz and just under the crossbar into goal. Zackary Romero hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Lakeland South fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Lakeland South's Graig Farr looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
