In the 19th minute, Roland Burrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland Burrell scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Li, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Roland Burrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Li was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariah Diamond in the 27th minute of play forced Lake Stevens's goalkeeper Ali Li to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fultondale AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Spencer Conley hit a great ball. Fultondale AFC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Lake Stevens's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roland Burrell took the corner. In the 38th match minute, Fultondale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Salazar to maneuver through the defense. Ali Li made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachariah Diamond in the 42nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Roland Burrell sped through Lake Stevens's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Li. If Roland Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Erik Califf made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lake Stevens's goalkeeper Ali Li, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Fultondale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremiah McClendon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Roland Burrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fultondale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Burrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Roland Burrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fultondale AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Burrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Li breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zachariah Diamond might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Li. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the final whistle sounded Fultondale AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lake Stevens.
