Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Deer Lodge FC's Kermit Strong started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Weiser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Morgan to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Rufus Copeland sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Weiser FC's Kelly Mullen didn't even have to move. Kelly Mullen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Son Dunham went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kelly Mullen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kermit Strong in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Weiser FC booed when Deer Lodge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanton Warren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boyce Gregory, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wade Rowley during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Deer Lodge FC got a freekick which was hit by Wade Rowley. Boyce Gregory, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jarrod Cole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Darryl Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Son Dunham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelly Mullen having to make a save. In the 27th minute Kermit Strong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kelly Mullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Son Dunham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deer Lodge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Son Dunham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Weiser FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kermit Strong fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Deer Lodge FC's Kelly Mullen threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kermit Strong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 39th play minute Son Dunham came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kelly Mullen. 2-0. Deer Lodge FC's Darryl Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrod Cole in the 43rd minute of play. Son Dunham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarrod Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deer Lodge FC's goalkeeper Darryl Jacob, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Kaiser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darryl Jacob read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Jarrod Cole got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Darryl Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Son Dunham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Son Dunham in the 64th minute of play forced Weiser FC's goalkeeper Kelly Mullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Weiser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zane Browne to maneuver through the defense. Son Dunham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelly Mullen having to interfere. Son Dunham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kelly Mullen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Cramer kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Brian Kaiser kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 75thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Deer Lodge FC's keeper Darryl Jacob was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Son Dunham in the 80th minute of play forced Weiser FC's goalkeeper Kelly Mullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darryl Jacob had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Boyce Gregory's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Weiser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kermit Strong came free, but Kelly Mullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deer Lodge FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
