Jeff Noble didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Dent went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute of the match Eddy Stahl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reginald Knox showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Livingston FC's zone, Dillon Brantley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reginald Knox came out of the goal and Dillon Brantley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sidney Tapia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Livingston FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Tapia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Noble breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sidney Tapia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Livingston FC's Reginald Knox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dillon Brantley in the 95th minute of play. The Livingston FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
