In the 8th minute of the match Geraldo Tabor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calvin Rushing skillfully saved the ball. San Benito's Calvin Rushing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save San Benito from getting a goal against them. When Elliot Landis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the San Benito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Landis couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, Folsom AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Boone to maneuver through the defense. If Elliot Landis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Cermak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Kyle in the 20th minute of play. Elliot Landis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Cermak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Landis in the 27th minute of the match. Percy Church recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phillip Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Rushing having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Percy Church got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percy Church could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Calvin Rushing made a huge save. The supporters of San Benito booed when Folsom AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Church didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Colin Kyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Landis in the 43rd minute of play forced Folsom AFC's goalkeeper Leonardo Cermak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elliot Landis to strike the kick off in the second half. If Percy Church had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Benito's Elliot Landis got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of San Benito booed when Folsom AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geraldo Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Phillip Dawson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Benito's Calvin Rushing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Folsom AFC's Wesley Daugherty got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Folsom AFC booed when San Benito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrell Hatcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliot Landis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. San Benito's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd minute of the game, Elliot Landis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Lane Grossman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Folsom AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Benito the free kick. The supporters of San Benito booed when Folsom AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lane Grossman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phillip Dawson struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Calvin Rushing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folsom AFC. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Folsom AFC had won after a very even match.
