The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Choi in the 21st minute of play forced Elfers FC's goalkeeper Jim Timmons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Norbert Choi fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jim Timmons, passed just outside the right post. Cedric Gray hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Elfers FC's goalkeeper Jim Timmons had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Choi. Jim Timmons made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Norbert Choi sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, Halls FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Overton to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Gordon Clifford put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Reed Cruz. After 47 minutes, Rufus Roberson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halls FC and the Elfers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rufus Roberson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dylan Montgomery to strike the kick off in the second half. When Dylan Montgomery came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Halls FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Montgomery couldn't finish the play. In the 69thth minute of the game Norbert Choi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elfers FC's Jim Timmons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domenico McKinnon hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jim Timmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Montgomery, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Norbert Choi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Choi in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Timmons saved Elfers FC from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Domenico McKinnon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halls FC's Norbert Choi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Elfers FC's Alfonzo Miranda got a free kick in the 85th minute. Elfers FC's Jim Timmons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Choi in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Elfers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonzo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Choi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Timmons having to interfere. Dylan Montgomery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Norbert Choi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halls FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Choi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Timmons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halls FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Elfers FC to leave the ground with a draw.
