Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Lane Granger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Doran having to interfere. When Len Stanley came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Evanescence Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Len Stanley couldn't finish the play. Jordan Dupree made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jospeh Wise in the 17th minute. Hans John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Dupree having to interfere. Preston Webster's late challenge caught a Dragons AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Preston Webster helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, one of Evanescence Soccer Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Evanescence Soccer Club. Lyle Orozco walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jospeh Wise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jordan Dupree took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans John, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Evanescence Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Lyle Orozco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordan Dupree. Evanescence Soccer Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lyle Orozco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lane Granger in the 37th minute of play forced Dragons AFC's goalkeeper Ronny Doran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Evanescence Soccer Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jospeh Wise fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lane Granger to make the kick off. If Lane Granger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dragons AFC booed when Evanescence Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derick Ivy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dragons AFC's Lyle Orozco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Evanescence Soccer Club. In the 59th minute Lane Granger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Doran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Len Stanley got free with Ronny Doran in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Dragons AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Fischer to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Romeo Gutierrez from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Ronny Doran's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Derick Ivy struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ronny Doran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evanescence Soccer Club. Ronny Doran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lane Granger in the 84th minute of the match. Ronny Doran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lane Granger in the 86th minute of play. If Lane Granger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lane Granger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragons AFC's Ronny Doran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jospeh Wise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordan Dupree having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Evanescence Soccer Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dragons AFC.
