Landry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sterling Gary in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Northgate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wout Camps came free, but J.C. Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Fowler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Triplett having to interfere. Tim Becker's late challenge caught a Northgate FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Becker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Northgate FC booed when Real Wellington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Pedro Fowler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northgate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Fowler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lewis Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Northgate FC booed when Real Wellington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Ulryk Hyska threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Wellington AFC's Rodrigo Connolly quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 37 minutes into the match, Northgate FC's goalkeeper J.C. Landry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sterling Gary. A hard shot 43 in the game by Wout Camps from a close distance when the talented J.C. Landry managed to make a qualified save. Northgate FC's players were relieved. In the 46th minute Wout Camps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Hunter struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Lewis Triplett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northgate FC.

In the 56th minute Wout Camps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Wellington AFC's zone, Pedro Fowler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Triplett came out of the goal and Pedro Fowler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Real Wellington AFC's Jared Hopper made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. J.C. Landry was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 65 minutes Real Wellington AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benito Sherman who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Wellington AFC's goalie and right to Ulryk Hyska. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Wellington AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Real Wellington AFC's Lewis Triplett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Fowler in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Benito Sherman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northgate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Wellington AFC the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Northgate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Sherman to maneuver through the defense. J.C. Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wout Camps in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Wout Camps had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of J.C. Landry. Northgate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wout Camps was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. J.C. Landry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sterling Gary in the 81st minute of the match. Northgate FC's J.C. Landry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wout Camps in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Pedro Fowler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northgate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Fowler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play Real Wellington AFC's Tim Becker was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Northgate FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Real Wellington AFC had won, even though Northgate FC had held more of the ball.
