The supporters of Mims booed when Hunters Creek Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Heller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Lewis Kaplan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darin Poirier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darin Poirier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milo Fair in the 12th minute of the match. Roger Darling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Shea in the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ferdinand Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Philip Bliss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Poirier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Jorge Hamm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Philip Bliss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Bliss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hunters Creek Village FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bernie Calhoun hit a great ball. Tory Myles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Poirier having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Hamm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Philip Bliss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mims's Jorge Hamm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darin Poirier. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. Tory Myles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Darin Poirier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roger Darling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Shea, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Hunters Creek Village FC's goalkeeper Darin Poirier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Hamm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frankie Belcher during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
