When Corydon FC's Harry Britton in 13 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Philip Livingston guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Philip Livingston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Britton in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Britton in the 25th minute of play forced New Freedom's goalkeeper Philip Livingston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Connor Roy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Philip Livingston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corydon FC's goalkeeper Tyson Kilgore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philip Livingston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Britton's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Connor Roy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Harry Britton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corydon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Britton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Livingston made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Connor Roy sent off a good shot on target. If Connor Roy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half New Freedom were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Britton to strike the kick off in the second half. Spencer Cermak kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, New Freedom's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Britton came free, but Philip Livingston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. New Freedom's Philip Livingston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Roy in the 60th minute of play. If Connor Roy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Harry Britton sped through New Freedom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Philip Livingston. After some careless play in the New Freedom defense, Harry Britton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philip Livingston. The New Freedom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philip Livingston should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Connor Roy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Livingston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hank Sweeney came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the New Freedom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Sweeney couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Roy in the 91st minute of play forced New Freedom's goalkeeper Philip Livingston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Corydon FC's Tyson Kilgore got control of the ball when Hank Sweeney tried to sneak it across the goal line.
