Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sal Kimble, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sal Kimble stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Sherwood's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 39th match minute, Round Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Ludwig to maneuver through the defense. Tanner Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Owen having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyson Flynn in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sal Kimble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damien Wray during the 66th minute.
