Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stacy Paige got the match started through his kick off. Octavio Benavides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rudolf Ferris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darnell Chapman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stacy Paige, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Ross Roland fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garnett AFC's protests and gave Ross Roland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Ross Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darnell Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Davila in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Garnett AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Todd Huston hit a great ball. Casey Davila took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darnell Chapman. Darnell Chapman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When West Jordan's Stacy Paige in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garnett AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Laurence McGill charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurence McGill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of West Jordan booed when Garnett AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence McGill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darnell Chapman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Davila in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, West Jordan's Rudolf Ferris got control of the ball when Jared Chase tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in West Jordan's zone, Jared Chase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Ferris came out of the goal and Jared Chase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garnett AFC's Ross Roland got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Ross Roland off the ground. Ross Roland kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Stacy Paige recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garnett AFC's Octavio Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Jared Chase managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garnett AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jared Chase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rudolf Ferris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reed Jennings got free with Rudolf Ferris in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Garnett AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. West Jordan were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jared Chase was the one to do the kick off. Rudolf Ferris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jared Chase in the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Garnett AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stacy Paige came free, but Darnell Chapman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Garnett AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Todd Huston hit a great ball. When Casey Davila came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the West Jordan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casey Davila couldn't finish the play. Garnett AFC's Darnell Chapman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacy Paige in the 68th minute of play. Casey Davila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darnell Chapman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Casey Davila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garnett AFC's goalkeeper Darnell Chapman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Todd Huston hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Casey Davila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Darnell Chapman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. West Jordan's Stacy Paige got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darnell Chapman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stacy Paige in the 96th minute of play. The Garnett AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching West Jordan's performance. The match ended with a win for West Jordan.
